BMX Track – Outdoor

Located on a 5,440m_ plot of land in the heart of the village of Pennes Mirabeau, in an environment that is both cultural and sporting, including a party hall, a grass stadium, a Tambourine ball area, swimming pool, tennis courts.

The facility, created in 1987, was completely renovated in 2020 (modification of the bends, repair of the asphalt, shaping of the straight lines and securing of the spectators, in view of a level 2 FFC classification with lighting.

The site includes a building with changing rooms/sanitary facilities shared between two local sports associations: the BMX club and the Tambourin club of Pennes Mirabeau and a workshop/storage area for bikes.

The track is now available to the local sports association BMX CLUB LPM for the organisation of its training sessions. The club welcomes children from the age of 6 years old for initiation up to high level.
The club competes in the National Division 2 and regularly applies to organise departmental and regional events as well as to host a round of the Challenge France.

The BMX LPM club in partnership with the sport school of Aix-en-Provence have set up a training centre to welcome cadets in order to guarantee the school-sports curriculum, to train them for 1 to 3 years in the National or Elite category and to prepare them for inter-regional, national and international events.
The training takes place on the tracks of Les Pennes Mirabeau and the Creps of Aix en Provence.
