A unique meeting place for sport, practitioners, research, high-level sport and industry, Technosport is a genuine platform dedicated to innovation in sport and movement. It enables the study of performance, in-situ, in its broadest sense, from high-level sport to pathological movements. Located at the gateway to the Calanques National Park in Marseille, it offers high-quality facilities and allows athletes to enjoy a unique natural environment.
In accordance with federal standards, the Technosport regularly hosts high-level events, both in climbing and in team sports (volleyball, handball, basketball – men’s and women’s national 2 teams). It offers 400m_ of weight room, 2,500m_ of instrumented gymnasium, a unique 640m_ climbing wall, all of which is backed up by a 510m_ research platform, hosting around one hundred researchers.
Equipped with a VIP room directly overlooking the field and the climbing wall, and a central reception, it is also equipped with a medical room.
In the immediate vicinity, the catering and accommodation facilities of the University allow delegations of sportsmen and women to train in ideal conditions in a calm and protected environment. The immediate presence of the Calanques National Park favours outdoor activities (hiking, running, climbing, etc.) and water sports.
