Located near Aix Provence, close to the motorway network, the Pays d’Aix Arena has all the technical and innovative features of the latest large sports and entertainment halls.

It was also designed to house the professional handball club of the Pays d’Aix (PAUC Handball). It has two competition halls, the main hall with a capacity of 7,000 seats and a training and competition hall with 989 seats. The latter is specially adapted to the practice of high-level handball with a floor approved by the international federation, a unique marking on the floor, numerous development areas, an adjoining weight room and all the equipment necessary for the practice of this professional sport.

Throughout the sporting season, it hosts the competitions of the resident club of the National Handball League in the first division, one of the best handball championships in the world, and those of the European Cup. It also allows the organisation of international matches such as the Volleyball Nations League or the Tennis Fed Cup.
