The Yves Blanc swimming pool, a few minutes walk from the centre of Aix en Provence, has been completely renovated in 2019. It has the latest technological advances in terms of water and air treatment, respect for the environment and equipment, such as a mobile wing that divides the 50m pool with 8 lanes into two 25m pools. This pool also offers many features for the practice of high-level aquatic sports, including changing rooms dedicated to high-level sports, a weight room and a dance room for artistic swimming directly accessible from the pools, an anti-doping room and a meeting room.

This aquatic centre is home to the Pays d’Aix Swimming Club. The latter has a great tradition of water polo and artistic swimming. The professional water polo team has been in the top 4 of the French championship for several years and has qualified for the various European Cups. As far as artistic swimming is concerned, Pays d’Aix Natation is the leading French club and manages the French hopeful pole with the French Swimming Federation.

The French teams of this discipline regularly carry out training courses of preparation there.
