The Bouches-du-Rhône Department is very pleased to have won 1st prize in the “Culture & Celebration” category for the Provence Terre de Sports Tours at the Terre de Jeux 2024 Awards ceremony held in Montpellier in December.
The Provence Terre de Sports Tours are an excellent opportunity to raise awareness among citizens of all ages about the levers of health, social integration and education and to bring the spirit of the Paris 2024 Games to life throughout the region.
This scheme has been a great success since its inception. In 2022, Istres, Aubagne, Miramas and Tarascon hosted the event.

As leader on the territory and in partnership with the CDOS 13, the departmental committees, the local sports associations and the host municipalities, our common objective is to develop the practice of sport for all, everywhere on the territory and to confer a concrete and durable heritage to the Provençal people.
